Giving back to the community is a big part of who we are as a church. Each year we strive to provide for the needs of those less fortunate in our town and county.
Each Summer, as the new school year approaches, we strive to help our community, especially those with limited resources, get prepared to go back to school. We acquire the school supply list from the local schools and have all the essential items available for the students. We place these things in new backpacks for easy distribution.
In 2020, due to Covid 19, all school supplies were delivered to the schools to be distributed as needed.

This year we are partnering with the Mitchell Community School System to distribute winter coats to children and families in need.

How You Can Help
DONATE
Bring new or gently used coats and jackets to the church offices.
For school supplies, please give in the form of monetary donations.
VOLUNTEER
Help hand out fully stocked backpacks to students and families.
Help families pick out jackets and coats that fit and function.
For both giveaways we will take monetary donations and make bulk purchases at discounted prices. A few dollars goes a long way.
